The following rules apply to the 2011 edition of the Canadian Securities Administrators' (CSA) "Financial Fitness Challenge" (FFC):

1) Contest Period
Contestants of the FFC may respond to online questions between February 15, 2011 at 9:00 am EST until April 15, 2011 at 11:59 pm EST, when the contest ends. No purchase is necessary to enter the contest.

2) Entry Submission
Contestants who are eligible to enter the FFC (see #8 below) will be able to fill out the entry form. Participants who are among the 60% who accumulated the most points on the national scale as well as on the provincial and territorial scales will be eligible for the random draws for a national grand prize and provincial and territorial prizes. The fields on the entry form marked with an asterisk are mandatory and must be completed in order for entry to be valid.

3) Finalists
On or about April 19, there will be one (1) entry randomly selected on the national scale and one (1) entry randomly selected per province and territory from among the 60% of entrants who accumulated the most points on the national scale and on the provincial and territorial scales. The maximum number of potential winners is 14. If there are fewer than five (5) entries from a province or territory, those entries will be combined with the entries from the province or territory that has the next fewest entries, and further combined if necessary in order to reach five (5) or more entries, and only one (1) entry will be randomly selected from the combined entries. The odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received in the national scale and in the applicable province or territory or in a combination of provinces/territories, if applicable.

4) Points

Points may be accumulated by:

• answering daily quiz questions (3 point per correct answer)

• using promo codes (3 points per code)

• inviting Friends who then sign up to the contest (2 points per friend to a maximum of 20 points)

5) Winners
Within four (4) weeks following his identification, a winner on the national scale will receive a prize of $2,000 CDN payable by cheque. A winner per province and territory will receive a iPad. Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes.

6) Notice to the winners
Each selected entrant will be notified by phone or by e-mail at the number or address provided in his/her entry within five (5) business days of the draw. Selected entrants must respond within 72 hours of the contest organizers' notification.

7) Conditions
A selected entrant will not be declared a winner until he/she has: (i) together with his/her parent or legal guardian (if selected entrant is a minor), completed, signed and returned the declaration and release documentation forwarded by the contest organizers within [two (2) weeks] of receiving them; (ii) otherwise complied with these contest rules; and, (iii) correctly answered, without aid or assistance, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered at a pre-arranged time by telephone.

8) Default
Should a selected entrant not respond within 72 hours of the notification or fail to satisfy the above conditions, his/her entry may be declared null and void and another entry will be randomly selected from the remaining entries on the national, provincial or territorial applicable scale or combination of provinces/territories, as applicable.
